Best vacation: Cabo San Lucas! I went with 11 of my best friends and did not say one word about work.
Last book you read: "Running with Scissors" by Augusten Burroughs. It is a crazy book!
Favorite comfort food: Chocolate
Last splurge: My new Olympus camera
Advice for beginners: Use equipment from the rental shop that was made in this last generation; keep your knees soft and bent, with your upper body straight so you don't hunch over your board; use your leading shoulder to guide you down the hill and take you where ever you want to go; have patience because once you learn you will be hooked!
Hero: My mother by far is my biggest hero! She always knows what to do!
Worst experience on the slopes: I was going to get off the lift and the corner of my sweatshirt caught on the chair and I was dangling off the chair. It was at a ski competition and there were 300 kids staring at me!
Favorite rainy day activity: I love watching a movie and staying home or bowling.
Pet peeve:When people are waiting for their luggage and they all have to stand pretty much on top of the baggage claim. Why can't everyone just step back five feet and wait?
Who I'd cast to play me in the movie of my life:Cameron Diaz
Nail polish color: Depends on my mood and the time of the year; I love red, but i also like light pinks.
Why I ride: I really love the sport. I think about it all the time—I fall asleep thinking about snowboarding. Sometimes the obligations that come with being a professional athlete ruin your love for the sport, but if you truly love it you can stick through almost anything!
